This game was made starting with the tutorial by Jonathan Parsons on The tutorial, "AS3 Flash Games for Beginners", is a nine part series that handles all the basics needed to make a playable 2d shooter in Flash AS3. Here is a link to the first part of the series. My thanks goes out to Jonathan Parsons for his great tutorial.

You need Flash Player 9 or higher to play this game.

This was a lot of fun to make. Most of what I learned making this game came from, but if there is anything in this game that you are curious how I did, I would be happy to tell you.

I don’t have any particular instructions. I would suggest running the code a line at a time via the debugger and hopefully you can figure it out. You can probably make it better than I did as this was my first attempt at a flash game. Good luck.
